Hades and Persephone

Persephone,
That's her.
Zeus says she is mine,
But her mother won't like that.
Her eyes look at me with hate,
But all I see is the greenness of grass in them.
Her hair is red,
Like the fury of Ares.
She looks at me as if I would harm her,
But why would I?
She looks delicate,
Like a flower starting to bloom.
Her skin radiates from the sun,
Looking more beautiful than Aphrodite.

Hades,

The man mother told me to stay away from.
He looks at me with longing,
Like he wants me.
His skin is pale,
Like the lost souls of the underworld.
He wears all black,
And not a bright color in sight.
I wont to run,

i was kissed by color before i was borni have a thing for butterflies -
           they were tattooed across my skin
           when i left my mother's womb.

they rest between my ribs
and the hollow of my throat
i was kissed with colors before i was born.

you were kissed by  h a p p i n e s s
and embraced by Eden -
so you could find refuge
in the color under my skin.

instead of a heart,
my blood beats with butterfly wings.
and they glow when i smile
or when my cheeks forget to blush.

My eyes are a mix of grey, green, gold, and brown
A prism of colour all the way around
My hair is the colour of fire
That glows with bright red flames

UnearthlyClock ticking away, one second at a time, counting down the seconds to oblivion. The room is silent; the only sound is the whispering of the wind and the crackling of paper, soon to be lost. The sky is dark, heavy with the plague that will soon envelop us all. Everyone stands as one and walks outside, on to the dead ground. Everything is dead or dying, but they pay no mind to that. These objects are the tools of Armageddon, the spawn of the deepest, darkest corners of hell. They do not care about life; they are heartless and cold.
